M/V Tyler Stephen is a Platform Supply Vessel built by Thoma-Sea Ship Builders and is designed to meet operation demands with the most cost efficient solutions. The vessel has more than 8,600 sqf (approx 800m2) of free cargo deck space, large tanks for water, fuel, liquid mud and dry bulk.
The vessel is equipped with Beier IVCS 2000 class 2 dynamic positioning system, which makes Tyler Stephen fit for an increasingly demanding offshore industry. The main propulsion is 2 Rolls Royce MK2 Z-Drives with 360 degrees rotaion Azmuthing Thrusters each powered by a Caterpillar 3516 with 2,1oo BHP. In front the vessel has 2 Rolls Royce CPP Bow Thrusters.
The bridge arrangement has been designed by experienced engineers making it a good workplace for the crew. Tyler Stephen has accommodation for 25 persons in 7 cabins. Mess and Lounge are available for the vessel complement.
