GOL started a $200 million new build program in 2006 focused on the deepwater market and includes eight dynamic-positioned deepwater vessels that will be built over the next three years.
Upon completion of this new build program, the Company will have a total of 11 owned and operated deepwater service vessels and 20 other vessels serving the shelf market in the Gulf of Mexico.
The Company recently completed its logistics base in the northern expansion of Port Fourchon, Louisiana. The development includes 1,400 ft of bulk-headed waterfront, three fixed position cranes, 23,000 sq. ft. of office space and living quarters, 24,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space and over 226,000 sq. ft. of outside storage area.
